I am a 30 something woman with several roles. Wife, mother and small business owner are the three biggies.

My 3 yr old daughter has some “special needs” including Hyperlexia, Sensory Processing Disorder and a Language Delay. (The SPD and Language are basically components of the Hyperlexia.)

My 1 yr old daughter is at the other end of the developmental curve - surprising us every day with what it’s like to parent a “typical” kid.

Amazing how two girls can be so different.

My blog chronicles my journey parenting a child with atypical development - as well as serving as a record of her unique development. I might ramble on about other things here and there as well.
